************************************************************************ CHECK HERE FOR A STATEMENT ON ********************************************************************* REQUIRED GRADE SHEET You must submit this grade sheet to receive your final grade. If you don’t send in your grade sheet you will be issued a "W" for the term. I did not assign a grade to most work. Rather I check it off as on-time, revised, proofed properly, etc. If I did give a grade, put it in the blank. Otherwise you are asked to "estimate" if you did okay, did well, did excellent work. CLICK HERE FOR A FURTHER EXPLANATION OF All work that has been revised is considered "Acceptable" which is a "C." To expect a "B" (or higher) you would need to tell me, honestly, in what way you did a good job. If your work was short, "sloppy," incomplete or simply not well-developed, then you should accept your "C." Good work, and particularly excellence, requires extra effort. It is not automatically assumed that doing an assignment achieves a "B."

ANSWER YES OR NO: _____On time for letter. _____On time for step by step. _____ On time for brouchure or webpage. _____On time for 4th assignment. Comments: (What else might "lobby" for a good grade?!) _______________________________________________________________________ To receive a grade of "B" one must complete the assignments with revisions as required, to the level that the work is error-free and shows effort better than simply "acceptable." No student can get a "B" with any less than the minimum requirements assigned throughout the term. The workshops are a requirement and all must be completed. All work must be done in a timely manner, on or before published deadlines, including the email workshops. Anything dramatically late or missing will require you receive less than "B" grade. Consistently lower grades than "B" on your four assignments would require that you ask for less than a "B". You may also "calculate" any extra credit to lobby for a higher grade ("B+"). To receive an "A" for the term, you must have done the fourth assignment. In addition, at least two (2) of the grades for your four assignments should be an "A" and no finished assignment can be less than a "B". You may also "calculate" any extra credit to lobby for a higher grade. PLEASE INDICATE FROM THIS LIST ("A" "B+" "B" "C+" "C" "D+" "D" "W") WHICH GRADE YOU HAVE EARNED: GRADE:___________ By submitting this grade sheet I hereby certify that all work submitted for this course is of my own original composition. ___________________________________________________ Note: You are asked to assign yourself the grade you believe you have earned. You should be a better judge, and know more honestly how you did, than just about anyone! However, your professor reserves the right to determine all final grades. |
