Notes
Regarding Materials on the Web for BY30/32 Anatomy and Physiology I / II:
For
lectures:
ÒBudget
Print NotesÓ are the lecture overheads/slides organized four to a page in PDF
format. These are designed to be
printed by you and brought to class.
They correspond directly to the overheads/slides used in class allowing
you to follow along and take margin notes as necessary during lecture instead
of copying down the content of the overheads during the lecture period.
ÒLecture
OverheadsÓ are PDF files of the PowerPoint slides or overhead transparencies
used during the class lecture. The
text is in 28-point font designed for visualization in the classroom, not for
efficient printing. They are
included here in case you have the need to print a selected page in a large
size for adequate visibility of diagram labels.
ÒHandoutsÓ
are PDF files of the handouts distributed and used during the lecture
period. They are here in case you
have lost a handout you were given in class, or if you would prefer to print
the handout in color when applicable on your own.
For
Labs:
ÒObjective
SheetÓ files are PDFs of the Laboratory Objective Sheets that are handed out in
class. They are here in case you
have lost the copy you received in class.
ÒMicroscopy
PhotosÓ are clickable thumb-nail images of the histology we are studying in
lab. In this format you can run a
slide show and link between the various labs to easily view all the microscopy
slides we used during the various lab activities. You can download the enlarged files in JPG format for
printing from your favorite image program.
ÒEasy
Print HistologyÓ are the same microscope histology photos in the slide shows
found in the ÒMicroscopy PhotosÓ files, but they have been converted to PDF files
with all pages turned to the portrait orientation to allow for quick and easy
printing without the need to download and re-orient the images.
ÒUnlabeled
PhotosÓ are designed to be used for quizzing yourself at home. Use them as if you were looking at the
slide under the microscope and design for yourself possible questions you could
be asked based on what you know you are responsible for as indicated on the
objective sheet that corresponds to each lab activity.
