The Web, or World-Wide Web, or WWW is the most popular Internet tool today, because of its attractive graphical interface and interactivity. The web is made up of hundreds of thousands of documents, written in a language called HTML Hypertext Mark-up Language), that have been uploaded to web servers that are directly connected to the Internet. HTML enables the web page designer to make words, phrases and images into hypertext, so that a user can simply click on the hypertext and instantly access another document or image anywhere in the world. The web is the easiest of all the tools to use, and is also an easy way to make your own information available on the internet. Check out the links on this page to learn more about navigating the WWW.
