Attendance
Attendance means your "presence" in the electronic "spaces" (such as e-mail, SLN and the WWW) that make up our virtual classroom. Obviously, team participation also requires your presence -- you cannot be a contributing member if you are not "there" in cyberspace. You should check your e-mail and the SLN portal regularly - at lease three times a week.
As a registrant at Suffolk County Community College Community, you are entitled to an E-mail address and 2 megs of web server space on the College network. The web page that you will design for this course must be placed on the College server (No Exceptions Please). This will cut down on your ISP costs, provide access, availability and space on an educational server. It also enables me to provide you with some (and I'm a cyber rookie just one step ahead or maybe many steps behind you in this regard) technical support regarding web pages when things go bump in the night.
